Visitor kiosk @ Botannical Gardens (2005)

A kiosk that raises the question of irony of botannical gardens.
Is it a display of the natural and randomness?
But is it in fact a form of urbanisation and precision man-made intervention?
This debate is expressed by the contrast setup by the need for shelter and the harsh elements of the environment together with man-made stone structures and its attempt to be random.

The design links the major routes of circulation such as while differentiating the private and public spaces with a core wall, the visitors experience the cold and harshness of the artificial shelter and at the same time appreciate the warmth and openess of the gardens
